Omaha Wedding Photographer

Wedding Venues near Omaha Nebraska… there’s so many, so how do you choose?

The Omaha, Nebraska area has some absolutely incredible wedding venues! These are some of my favorite venues that I’m photographed wedding at in the last years. I did my best to choose different vibes – from beautiful barn venues, to industrial – there’s so many options to choose from!

These venues are photography friendly, have great getting ready spaces, and the owners are so nice! I know selecting a wedding venue can be so overwhelming, so my goal is to help you feel the vibe of each wedding venue so you can select the best fit for you! And so, I’ve compiled a list of some of my favorite venues to photograph at!

Sparks Barn

Located in Louisville, Nebraska
Capacity: 350

Sparks Barn is a gorgeous Omaha wedding venue in the rolling hills of Louisville. It’s just far enough out that it feels intimate, but its close enough to still be convenient!

There’s a pond that makes the perfect backdrop to their outdoor ceremony space, and a barn that allows for indoor ceremonies and receptions! Sparks Barn started as a farm in 1865, and 2017, they changed the space over to an event venue! The owners are so sweet too!

The Soirée Room

The Soiree Room in Omaha is so conveniently located with so much space! There’s a great getting ready room with tons of mirrors, two connected getting ready rooms, and a bathroom. There’s a small outdoor ceremony location, and a gorgeous light gold, textured wall that is the perfect backdrop for a head table.

They also provide tables, chairs, and china for each wedding!

The Palace Event Center

Located in Treynor, Iowa
Capacity: 300

This gorgeous white barn venue near Omaha, Nebraska was dreamed of for years before it began to happen in 2016. The owners transformed the old barn into a classic wedding venue. My favorite part of The Palace Event Center the beautiful getting ready space or the fountain out front – I can’t choose!

The Omar

Located in Omaha, Nebraska
Capacity: 450

Originally the Omar Bakery Building built in 1923, the Omar is a historic industrial space full of opportunity. Host both your wedding ceremony and reception all in one open space, with an opportunity for cocktail hour off the back upstairs patio. Industrial exposed brick + art deco style never looked so good together.

The Omar began as a Bakery built in 1923. Now, it is a gorgeous industrial space for ceremonies and receptions! My favorite parts of this venue is the gorgeous art deco style paired with the brick wall. This venue doesn’t disappoint!

The Barn at the Ackerhurst Dairy Farm

Located in Bennington, Nebraska
Capacity: 450

The Barn at the Ackerhurst Dairy Farm, or The Omaha Barn, as it known as, was built in 1935 and was first an operating dairy farm! In 2015 it was purchased and transformed into a two story wedding venue with an outdoor ceremony space!

My favorite part of this venue is the many different getting ready rooms, as well as the gorgeous trees for photos behind the barn.

The Stables at Copper Ridge

Located in Denison, Iowa
Capacity: 560

Possibly one of my favorite venues ever, The Stables at Copper Ridge wedding venue is situated on 43 acres of rolling hills in western Iowa. Once an operating horse stable, this space was renovated into a wedding venue in 2016.

There’s a beautiful getting ready space with lots of light, but my favorite part – hands down – is all the beautiful space to take photos in outside!

Willow Creek Glass Chapel

Located in Shelby, Iowa
Capacity:300

This once farm has been in the same family for 6 generations. In 2002, the owners decided to turn it into a wedding venue built next to a creek. The chapel was built first, and the barn was then constructed out of other barns!

My favorite part of the Willow Creek Glass Chapel and Barn – other than the gorgeous walking trails and spaces to take photos – is the gorgeous chapel with entire walls full of windows! It’s such an amazing space. Its also so convenient to have a completely separate reception space so there’s no space flipping

Magnolia Hotel

Magnolia Hotel has retained much of the detail it had when built in 1924. This Omaha wedding venue has a gorgeous bridal suite with plenty of room. The courtyard area is perfect for a ceremony!

There’s so many hidden gems to take photos at this venue, which makes it one of my favorites to photograph!

Tucker Hill Vineyard

Located in Sioux City, Iowa

This gorgeous vineyard venue north of Omaha, Nebraska is a GORGEOUS wedding venue situated on top of a hill. They have several places for an outdoor ceremony, and a spacious barn with 2 levels. Tucker Hill Vineyard in Hinton Iowa might be a bit of a drive from Omaha, but is well worth it with its many locations to take photos, and killer views that come from its hilltop location.

With 256 acres, the locations to take photos at is almost limitless. There’s seven different ceremony space options, both indoor and outdoor. Lauritzen Gardens

The Lauritzen Gardens – Omaha Botanical Center is probably one of the most diverse wedding venues that Omaha offers. There’s the option for an indoor ceremony in their arboretum, there’s several different outdoor ceremony space options. And the light everywhere cannot be beat. This makes it one of my favorite venues to photograph at, HANDS DOWN.
