Joel and Sara’s engagement session was such a fun one! We explored all over the place and it was so sweet to see so many of their favorite places!
I flew into Denver in the afternoon for our session that night. They picked me up from the airport, we dropped off my luggage at Sara’s house and then headed over to Red Rocks Park near Red Rocks Amphitheatre. We walked all around the trails before heading up the mountain to Evergreen Lake.
When Joel proposed to Sara, they started their date by talking at Evergreen Lake before driving even further up the mountains to an overlook that shows the entire view of Denver. That was such a special memory that we decided to re-create it and do the exact same thing! So after stopping at Evergreen Lake, we wound through the mountains till we got to that special overlook. And what a view it was!
