Bridesmaid dress are one of the biggest, yet most subtle, things that can affect the tone of your wedding. Dresses also help set the tone of the season and the color palette that you’re going for! In photos, the dress color helps add contrast to the bride and ties in the bride’s bouquet.
Some of my favorite colors for season I’ve seen are:
Green, blues, and purples for spring
Pinks, yellows and jewel tones for summer.
Rust, taupes and and burgundy for autumn,
Reds, blues, greens, and blacks for winter.
BHLDN *pronounced Beholden* is a curated dress store brought to you by Anthropologie. They seem to focus on trendy and boho dresses, with a few classic styles thrown in. Check them out here.
Azazie is probably one of the cheapest places to get a bridesmaid dress. You can tell that the quality is lower as the fabric feels cheaper, and one set size and dress may have slight differences. However, if you’re looking for a wear-once dress, this place is great! View their dresses here.
Birdy Grey hits all the boxes with its prices and its quality. It keeps up with trends while still sticking to classic styles with tons of color options. Head over here to view their gowns.
Lulus is one of my go to stores for all things dresses. They have bridesmaid dresses, wedding guest dresses, date night dresses – I love them! Check them out here.
If you’re looking for something a little less trendy and a little more unique, head over to Baltic Born. They have some gorgeous velvet gowns, wrap dresses and more. View their dresses here.
