When LeeAnn woke up the morning of her and Derrick’s 4th dating anniversary, she texted him “Happy Anniversary!!” and expected him to text back. He never did, and acted like he had never even gotten the text. This was confusing to LeeAnn because Derrick is typically really good at remembering dates!

When he came home from work, he asked LeeAnn what her favorite part of the last 4 years had been, so she told him, and then asked him in return.

“This moment, right now.” He replied.
And then he asked her to marry him.
