From the wedding gown completely covered in pearls, to the candlelit dinner, the details of this wedding were chic and stunning!
The joy and excitement of this day was palpable from the moment I arrived. George and Colleen were surrounded by all their closest friends all weekend (no, really – it was the largest bridal party I’ve ever photographed) and the excitement of everyone around them made the entire day so joyful and happy!
Colleen donned a pearl covered gown from Viero Bridal, while George wore a dark blue suit coat that coordinated perfectly with the rest of his all-black attire. During their first look, neither of them could keep the smiles from their faces, in spite of the wind and the chill of October.
Ashton Hill Farms in Galena, IL made for the perfect backdrop while Colleen walked the long aisle – wind gently blowing her veil. George and Colleen met while working at a credit card company, so when their officiant opening their wedding with “These two are are living proof that it really does pay to Discover.” was just perfect!
Their reception was spent mingling with friends and family, so many hugs, and they finished off with dancing the night away.
