Travis and Janelle’s day started out with sunshine, and we couldn’t have been happier about it. Janelle and her girls got ready at the church before Janelle headed over to Grandview Park for her first look with Travis. They shared the sweetest moments before we headed into bridal party photos.
Their bridal party was such a hoot! For the most part, they all knew each other and that always adds an extra layer of fun into a wedding day. Once bridal party photos were done, I headed to downtown Des Moines with the bride and groom for some extra fun photos! On the way back, we drove past the A&E Dairy Cows and Travis said, “I have an idea. What if we took some photos with the cows?” It was the perfect idea because Janelle LOVES dairy farming and cows! We had a little pit stop there before heading back to the church for the ceremony.
The ceremony was beautiful. After the bridal party walked down the aisle, a slideshow played to honor Travis and Janelle and Janelle’s father, who had passed away. Janelle LOVES Christmas, so she walked down the aisle to a piano version of The Christmas Canon by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra! Travis was blown away by how beautiful his bride was. It was so sweet to watch his reaction.
Once the ceremony was finished, everyone headed upstairs to celebrate! What a perfect day it was.
