Portraits were one part of 2021 I didn’t expect! I had done a few in high school and college, but stopped offering them for several years. I decided to start taking portraits again this year, and I’m SO GLAD!
I got to meet the sweetest seniors and had such a good time location scouting and finding great spots that would fit each senior perfectly. I also photographed a few portrait sessions for headshots and those were so fun too!
I love how much zest for life there is when you’re finishing high school and ready to start a new adventure – and y’all know I’m DOWN for any kind of adventure!
This year, I got to photograph several different animals, and it was so fun! We had goats twice, a few dogs, a fish, and some cows! Props ranged from 4 wheelers to poms to basketballs to sports medals.

Sam and Abbie's Altoona, IA engagement session at Pine Hollow Stables was a horse lovers dream. We spent the whole evening walking around the pasture and even visited the spot where they got engaged!
