Wedding Photography in Omaha
When Matt and Laura met in 2019, they quickly fell into a comfortable rhythm. 2020 hit, and they found themselves stuck at home, spending all their time together – but no matter how much time they spent together, it never felt like enough!
For their wedding, they wanted it to be laid back and full of laughter – which is a perfect representation of who they are as a couple. While they never imaged getting married in a barn in Nebraska, The Omaha Barn was the perfect fit for their wedding. They embraced it fully and Matt (and his party) even wore socks with corn cobs on them! Laura wore a simple, classic gown that suited her perfectly, while Matt wore a classic suit with a dusty blue tie.
All day long, I noticed how close they were to their families. Laura’s Mom and sister shared some tears seeing Laura in her dress for the first time, while Matt had a blast dancing with his mom and dad during the reception – even taking some pictures making faces – like Matt always did during family vacations growing up.
Their cake topper was a custom cut-out of two runners – a nod to how much they both love to run, and after cutting their cake, they shared some of their favorite ice cream: Blue Bell.
Their day was such a fun one to photograph – and I can’t wait to share these photos with you!
