Spring on the Farm

Hey y’all!

I’m a hardcore summer lover – so when I see the snow finally melting, and all the happy spring things starting to happen, I get pretty excited!

This is my first year living on the farm during the spring, so I’ve learned a lot more than I ever dreamed about ground temperature, tagging calves, planting, and many other things. We have three calves this year and I love watching them jump around!

The cows (and dog and cats) have been loving all the sunshine. Ziva is part husky so she gets really warm really fast and ends up laying in the shade most of the day. Staccato, the cat, had a litter of kittens, which unfortunately didn’t make it. She ended up having a bad infection and we almost lost her too – but she pulled through with some help. Now she looks a little lopsided due to half of her being shaved…she looks kind of funny.

Wedding season started last week, but I really wanted y’all to see a glimpse of what spring farm life has looked like. This month also brings our one year wedding anniversary – which seems a little unreal.

Anywho… enjoy these random pictures of farm life; I’m off to finish editing a wedding!

Love,

Anna
