Pete and Bethany’s Northern Minnesota wedding began with all the girls getting ready together at the family acreage where Bethany grew up. The INCHES of rain left the yard and surroundings in puddles, so instead of a first look in the woods, Pete and Bethany shared a first look in the house they will eventually call home. All the construction equipment got shoved in one corner, while the other corner became the first look location.
The rain cleared up just in time for some bridal party portraits – and my awesome second shooter sacrificed his rain coat so that Bethany’s dress wouldn’t get wet before the ceremony. The ceremony was so sweet, with a few tears. Bethany’s dad sadly passed away a few years ago, so her two brothers walked her down the aisle to give her away. The ceremony was beautiful and simple, and the bride and groom’s joy at finally getting married was contagious!
Pete + Bethany, I’m so excited for you both as you and I can’t wait to see how God uses you together! Thank you for trusting me with your photography.
Love, Anna
