You might remember these two…. They’ve been around the blog before. They got married in September on a slightly rainy, partially sunny day. Since then, they have become some of our closest and dearest friends. Michael is Matthew’s cousin, so they were already good friends. Madi and I jumped head first into being friends/cousins, and Matthew and I always love it when we get to spend time with them. They came for a visit over Easter and we found a gorgeous blossoming tree that was practically asking to be photographed, so we all drove over after church and grabbed a few photos.
Believe it or not, we took all of these photos in around 7 minutes – record time! Photographing couples that I’ve photographed before is a breeze and Michael and Madi knew exactly what to do. Madi is very interested in photography as well, so I taught her some of the basics and then she got to practice on Matthew and I – she did an AMAZING job too! I updated one of our photos on the “About” page, so you can head over there to see how cool she is!
Abbie's interest in architecture made The Salisbury House in Des Moines the obvious choice for her summer portrait session!
Sam and Abbie's Altoona, IA engagement session at Pine Hollow Stables was a horse lovers dream. We spent the whole evening walking around the pasture and even visited the spot where they got engaged!
