This harvest was a big learning curve for this small-town girl. I learned about harvesting and attempted to learn to drive a tractor. We got two cats, Forte and Staccato. As you might be able to guess, Forte is loud and likes to talk. Staccato, on the other hand, is a quiet little miss and doesn’t like to have her picture taken.
Only a few short months after that, we added a Pup into our little fam bam. Named after one of my favorite characters from NCIS, Ziva is a 7 month old mutt. She’s a mix of Husky, Heeler, Mastiff and Rottweiler, but looks mostly like a Rottweiler.
I gave up the idea of decorating for summer in September and skipped straight to Fall. I love craft projects and making them is my favorite.
By October, harvest was in full swing. I learned a lot more about farm wifing and I hope I never underestimate a farmer again in my life. They are by. far. the most hardworking people and I’m thankful to be married to such a hard worker.
